He was predeceased by: his parents, Orren and Dorothy; and his siblings, Norman, Phyllis and Jacqueline.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen of Bird Island; his children, Bradley Rust of Lake Lillian, Lynn Rust (Joel Petersen) of Vancouver, WA, Kristal Rust (David Mariman) of Vancouver, WA and Bethany Rust (Michael Lusk) of Mattoon, IL; his sisters, Mary Sherwood of Mankato, Verna McCarty of Fridley and Nancee Rust-Yabani (Maurice Yabani) of St Paul; and his sister-in-law Joanne Rust of Litchfield.
In lieu of flowers, plant a tree in your yard, along with some hollyhocks, sunflowers and horseradish.
