He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wallert and Elizabeth Wallert (Semrau); and his siblings, Carl "Sonny" Wallert, Caroll Robben, Eddy Weller and Betty Schemmel.
He is survived by: his nephew Jack; his significant other Barb Schuerer; and his siblings, Jerry Wallert (Mary) of Clear Lake, SD, Elaine Cloutier of Montevideo, Karen Meyer (Russ) of New Germany and Tom Wallert (Charlene) of Renville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dirks-Blem Funeral Service - Olivia (104 S 6th St, Olivia, MN 56277). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
