He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Welsh and Matilda Welsh (Prokosch); his son Ronald J. Welsh; his siblings, Jim Welsh, Bud Welsh and Myrtle Precht; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Larson, Ray Thole, Lester Precht and Adeline Welsh.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Mau; his children, Robert Welsh (Jan) of White Bear Lake, Brian Welsh (Crystal) of Rosemount, Brad Welsh (Traci) of Willmar and Tina Walburn of Little Falls; his grandchildren, Peighton, Kayli (Blake), Tory, Samantha, Olivia, Jack, Avery and Hunter; his great grandchildren, Everett and Kolsen; his siblings, Jeanette Larson, Charlene Thole, Ron Welsh (Myrna), Carol Norris (Johnny) and Russ Welsh (Donna); and his sister-in-law Sylvia Welsh.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:15 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (220 S 10th St, Bird Island, MN 55310). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the same location.
