With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Hammer of Bird Island, Minnesota, who passed away on April 1, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Peterson and Stella Peterson (Carlson); and her husband Richard Hammer. She is survived by: her pet Lorraine; her daughter Renae Saunders (Rob) of Merrifield; her granddaughters, Liza Davis (Jon) of St Michael and Holly Baur (David) of Minneapolis; her great grandchildren, Annalise, Eli Davis, Olivia and Westley Baur; her son Steven Hammer (Liz) of St. Cloud; her grandchildren, Jason Hammer of Maple Grove, Mary Stenberg (Cory) of St Michael, Andrew Hammer (Jamie) of Duluth and William Hammer (Leah) of Maple Grove; her great grandchildren, Dillon, Nora Hammer and Ian Stenberg; and her siblings, Lowell Peterson (Bobbie) of Cokato, Ruth Peterson of Eden Prairie and Ronald Peterson (Pat) of Annandale.
