Murel Boehme Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murel Boehme of Bird Island, Minnesota, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Boehme and Theresa Boehme (Holdgrafer); his wife Blanche Halligan of Mary's Catholic Church; his son-in-law Brian Eichten; his grandson Jacob Eichten; and his siblings, Vince, Lester, Leo Boehme, Rosemary Wordes and Jeanette Palkovic.
He is survived by: his children, John Boehme (Cheryl), Mike Boehme (Pat), Joe Boehme, Ann Eichten (Charlie Zaugg) and Tim Boehme (Ashley). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; and his twenty three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (220 S 10th St, Bird Island, MN 55310). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
