He was predeceased by: his parents, Parks Dahlgren and Dolores Dahlgren (Blume); his brother Charles Dahlgren; his mother-in-law Irene Macdonald; and his brother-in-law Douglas Macdonald.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret of Bird Island; his children, Troy Dahlgren of Bird Island, Kristin Jones (Pat) of Gilbert, AZ and Ryan Dahlgren of Bird Island; his grandchildren, Anya, Ilsa, Inga Dahlgren and Liam Jones; his sisters, Suzanne Nelson (John), Patricia Peterson (Ron), Nancy Jurgensen (Dan Nordin), Katherine Krantz (Tom) and Gretchen Anderson (Howard); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Dahlgren, Alex Macdonald (Joan), Bruce Macdonald (Anne) and Claudia Macdonald. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
