He is survived by: his wife Deb of Savior's Lutheran Church; his children, Kristin Young (Tom), Jeremy Kopel (Kris), Brian Kopel (Marsha) and Brad Kopel (Raschelle); his grandchildren, Amy Evenson (Hunter), Dylan Schroeder, Austin Schroeder, Paul Young (Codi), Renee Young, Taylor Klatt (Logan), Morgan Fennern, Kaylee Fennern, Hunter Kopel, Kalli Kopel, McKenzie Kopel and Tayte Kopel; his great grandchild Hadley Evenson; his siblings, Karen Steffel, Sharon Kadlec, Marlene Krantz, Mike Kopel (Helen), Diane Otteson (Jon) and LuAnn Krier (John); and his brother-in-law Kenny Koterba. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
