With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Sopko of Biwabik, Minnesota, born in Virginia, Minnesota, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James M. Sopko to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Sopko and Helen Sopko (Larson); and his siblings-in-law, John Voigt, Larry Cooper and Georgianna Cooper.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Cooper; his siblings, Stacy Holmstrom (Ed) of Biwabik and Bonnie Dennison (Ron) of Elkhart, Indiana; his children, Steven Sopko (Chris) of Dilworth and Krissy Finco (Jason) of Coon Rapids; his grandchildren, Joseph, Morgan, Theo, Sara, Alex, Zac Sopko, Kylie and Weston Finco; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Cooper, Dan Cooper (Lisa), Don Cooper and Connie Voigt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
