He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Haiby and Alma Haiby; and his brothers, Marvin and Arlan Haiby. He is survived by : his wife Reyna Haiby (Lempart); his sons, Alan Haiby (Carmi) of Clearwater and Scott Haiby (Pam) of Blackduck; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Cade and Kaytlin Haiby; and his sisters, Joan Gunderson (Bob) of Blackduck and Carol Haiby of Bemidji. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.

“We were saddened to hear of Everett's passing. Though I didn't know him well, I have heard many wonderful stories about him and his kindness to my husband Paul. He and Verlan Pasche were able to hunt with Everett and I know that was a special treat for all of them.
