He is survived by: his wife Claire; his children, Kjell Eken (Chad) of Mountain Lake, MN, Matt Sheppard of Bigfork, MN and Betsy Sheppard of Munich, ND; and his granddaughter Eleanor Eken. He is also survived by numerous in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
