He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Swanson and George "Gedo" Swanson; and his sisters, Phyllis (Bergy) and Marion "Moya" (Mike). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Swanson; his children, Steven "Steve" (Sarah) and Sharon (Gerald); and his grandchildren, Mia, Chad, Kate (Mark), Emily (Aris), Marques (Katie), Perry (Sue) and Fionn. He is also survived by loving great-grandfather to his 14 great-grandchildren.
