He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloys Kohler and Sophie Kohler (Gerten); and his siblings, Edward Kohler (Christelle), Florence Wanless (Ray), Allen Kohler (Janice), Francis Kohler and Marilyn Roberts (Ken).
He is survived by: his brother Ben Kohler (Lorrie Miller); his former wife Judy Kohler (Ruzsa); his son Luke Kohler (Holly); and his grandsons, Ethan, Jacob and Adam. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
A burial will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450). A reception will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mueller-Bies - Lino Lakes Chapel (7050 Lake Dr, Lino Lakes, MN 55014).
