He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Cheney and Emogean Cheney; his former wife Sandra Fetters Cheney; his son Curtis Lee; his brother-in-law Marlyn Boor; and his nephew Michael Cheney.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Cheney; his siblings, Dean (Audrey), Darrel (Mary Cheney), Myrna (Floyd) and Buffy Arvidson (Donavan); his daughter Tamara Joy Cheney; his adoptive son Christopher Luckett-Cheney; and his children, Tresta Brown, Trish Riel, Kasey Wynkoop and Chris Fetters. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Blaine VFW- SGT John (1374 109th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434).
