She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Hoekstra; her husband Gerald Slagter; her sons, Joe Slagter and Thomas Slagter; her grandson Nicholas Slagter; and her brother-in-law Henry Ledeboer.
She is survived by: her mother Gertrude Hoekstra (Douma); her children, Dean Slagter (Patricia) of Danube, Jerry Slagter (Dawn) of Roseland, Terry Slagter (Darla) of Blomkest, Dale Slagter (Sue) of Svea and Jill Albin (Bill) of Chandler, AZ; and her sister Beverly Ledeboer. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
