We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2025, at the age of 84, Jon Jelinek (Blooming Prairie, Minnesota), born in Austin, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jon Jelinek to pay them a last tribute.

Though Jon may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made directly to the Blooming Prairie Servicemen's Club in Jon's memory, in appreciation for the community and camaraderie he cherished there.

“i would work on his cars now and then and would always tease him about someone breaking into his car and leaving all those dairy queen and burger king wrappers under his front seat....he refered me to a jump in the lake of some sort or another.favorite story is himself and troy andersen doing some dirty work for ray driving a retired greyhound bus to north of sixty death camp....i will miss him alot....billy p”
