She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Bakkedahl and Edrie Bakkedahl (Thompson); her brother Lowell Bakkedahl; and her brother-in-law Virgil Heydt. She is survived by: her husband Maynard Johnson; her children, Brad Johnson (Nancy) of Lakeville, Curt Johnson (Sallye) of Owasso and Karen Peterson (Wade) of Blaine, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Maliah (Brad), Ryan (Stephanie), Nicole (Sam), Danielle (Ryan), Brandon (Anna) and Celine (Ahmad); her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Holland, Benedict, Gemma, Greysen, Miller, Graham, Adeline and Presley; her sisters, Janice Johnson (Russ), Laurene Heydt and Lavonne Boullion (Russ); her sister-in-law Barb Bakkedahl; and her pets, Stanley and Stella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (434 1st St SW, Blooming Prairie, MN 55917). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
