With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne Wilbert Johnson of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, born in Freeborn, Minnesota, who passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbert Johnson and Pauline Johnson (Schubert); his wife Shirley Johnson; and his sister-in-law Rose Johnson. He is survived by : his daughters, Wendy Schabert (Bill) of Austin and Vicki Johnson of Gallatin, Tennessee; his granddaughters, Nicole and Lauren; his brother Ronald Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Ronald Selstad (Monica) and Ramona Selstad; and also, Roger, Shari, Jeannie, Johnathan, Jason and Julia Manges.

Memorials are preferred to the Community Lutheran Church or Geneva Cemetery.
