She was predeceased by : her parents, Obert Christianson and Irene Christianson (Johnson); her husband Robert "Bud" Dennis; her siblings, Norma, Curtis and Duane; and her grandchildren, Stephanie and Robert.

She is survived by : her children, Roger Dennis of Belton, TX, Vern Dennis (Gloria) of Blooming Prairie, MN, Linda Peak (Ed) of Hayward, MN and Brenda Rasmussen (Mike) of Henderson, MN; and her grandchildren, Shiann, Mandy, Lana (Andrew), Jeremy, Nicole, Rebekah (Ryan), Trisha and Ryan Cardenas. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

“Orene was always such a positive person to be around. She always greeted me/my family/all, with such a delighted and enthusiastic way. Quick to hug and show you that twinkle in her eye, Orene was sincerely interested in the other person and their goings on. Creative, bright and kind -not to mention -a snappy dresser who was not afraid of color! She left , and led, a beautiful and bright family. She will certainly be missed. Sincere condolences.
