She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Singer; her parents, Wencel Pexa and Bessie Pexa; her siblings, George, Leonard, Danny Pexa and Marian Rud; and her sisters-in-law, Rosie and Carol Pexa.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Cobb, Jim Singer (Nancy), Sue Singer, Ann Elward (John), Joan (Gary) and Marit Oyen; her brother Allen Pexa; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Pexa and Diane Pexa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Presbyterian Homes Bloomington, St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, or Minnesota Public Radio.
