She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her daughter Therese; her grandson Mateo; her parents, Arnold Hamel and Lucy Hamel (Gibbs); and her siblings, Mary Clare Ryan (Herb), Joe Hamel (Katie), Bob Hamel (Mary Frances), Anne Hickey (Bill), John Hamel, Jim Hamel, Arnold Hamel and Virginia O'Connor (Tom).

She is survived by: her sister Lucy Wilhoit; her parents-in-law, Rick Wilhoit, Mary Scallen, Katie Hamel, Jean Dolan, Bill and Marlene Dolan; and her children, Tim, Cathy Dolan (Dan O'Brien), Mike (Lori), Debbi Wulf (Wayne), Paul (Linda), Anne Hughes (Terry) and Mark (Jennifer). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
