Cyril C Hegerle Obituary
Cyril C. Hegerle, age 99, formerly of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 4, 2023. Cy was a Tail Gunner on B-17's with the Army Air Force during WW II and he was the retired longtime owner of Hegerle's Our Own Hardware on Grand Avenue in St. Paul, MN. He worked with Weight Watchers for many years helping others achieve their goals.
Cy was the last surviving child of Joe and Aurelia's 8 children; Ione Gagne, Lauren Hegerle, Joe Hegerle, Betty Joyce, Joyce Kormanik, Joann Hegerle and Carol Hegerle. He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cy was a fun, caring person who will be sorely missed.
Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, November 15, 2023 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Nativity of Mary, 9900 Lyndale Ave. So. Interment follows at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation is 1 hour prior to Mass.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to donors choice.
