He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Kay Iversen (Benda); his parents, John Iversen and Ann Iversen (Lee); his children, Debbie and Laurie Iversen; his son-in-law Rich Hoyle; his siblings, Warren Iversen and Charlet Hannon (Iversen); his niece Jill Naylor; his in-laws, Bob O'Connor, Dianne Iversen, LuJean Iversen, Denny Jaeger, Ward Naylor and Viola Iversen; Frank and Elsie Benda.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Schanilec (Gaylord) of Stockholm, Gary Iversen (Eileen) of Arlington and Lisa Iversen of Bellingham, Washington; his son-in-law Jim Mosel; his grandchildren, Melissa Siebersma (Steve), Ian Iversen, Chris Iversen (Melissa), Jamie Mosel (Tim), Nick Schanilec (Connor), Madeline Mosel, Paul Mosel and Kellia Hoyle; his great grandchildren, Steve, Carter, Jackson, Isabelle, Brycen and Aubree Iversen; and his siblings, Audrey O'Connor, Mary Ann Naylor, Burton Iversen, Peter Iversen (Janet), June Jaeger and Janet Gunderson (Lenny).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at 9886 Penn Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55431. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
