He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Edstrom and Amanda Edstrom; his siblings, Elaine, Melvin, Robert (Beverly), Joyce Ayers (Darrell) and Wesley; and his son-in-law Bryan Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Arlys; and his children, Timothy (Leslie), Kristin Gray Hamilton (Marvin), Heidi Mattfield (Stuart) and David Jelle (Jayne). He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
