He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald B. Hayes and Kathleen L. Hayes. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Kelly Smerdon; and his siblings, Mike Hayes (Maryann), Colleen Schneiderjohn (Jack), Donna Gaghagen (Kim), Tim Hayes (Nancy Dolan) and Sue Hayes. He is also survived by many nieces and other loving family member and friends.
