With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Freeman of Bloomington, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Carter Freeman (Penny); his parents, Theodore Freeman and Faye Freeman; and his brothers, Harrison and Theodore Freeman.
He is survived by: his children, Ann (Susan), Douglas Jr. (Mary) and Carter (Jill); his grandchildren, Anthony (Angela), Nora, Ben (Hannah), Dan (Kim), Emma (Dan), Wes and Jessica (Zacgary); his great grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Ta'Riah, Brayden, Averie, Zaylin, Aniyah and Henley; his siblings-in-law, Lester Carter and Shirley Ripley Freeman; his close friend Dianne Marshall; and also, Bob and Mardie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
