He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Paul and Mary Agnes Henkels (Schaffer); his wife Donna; and his siblings, Charles, Bernard, John, Gregory Henkels, Margaret Henkels, Bernadine Iverson and Lucy Ferguson.
He is survived by: his sister Beatrice Pluard (George) of Munster. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pax Christi Catholic Church (12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN 55347). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
