James Joseph will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though James Joseph is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. James Joseph’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Gross (Zender) and Alfred Gross. He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Gross; and his siblings, Loren Gross (MaryAnn) and Joyce Anderson. He is also survived by four nieces; a nephew; and a great niece and nephew.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (6730 Nicollet Ave, Richfield, MN 55423). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dawn Valley Memorial Park Cemetery (9940 Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington, MN 55438).
