He is survived by: his wife Joan McCabe; his children, John McCabe (Cynthia), Donna Kooiman (Scott) and Diane Gavin (Rick); his sisters, Marilyn White (Gary) and Pam McCabe (Ron Schibilla); his stepchildren, Craig Burke (Nancy), Brian Burke (Colleen), Patrick Burke (Julie), Jami Wittke (Tony) and Laura Chestnut; and his grandchildren, Levi Burke, Shea Burke, Rylee Burke, Noah Wittke, Nicole Wittke and Sarah Burke.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or to donor's choice.
