He was predeceased by: his parents, Rud Benda and Leone Benda (Wise); and his former wife Joyce Benda (Doyscher). He is survived by: his wife Joan Maclin (Davidson); his children, Laurie Berglund (Bob), Julie Wolk and Mike Benda; his grandchildren, Nicole Anderson, Danielle Dupre (Aaron), Alicia Wolk and Nick Kotzian; his sister Joan Hughes (Tom); his stepdaughter Molly Oliver (Carlton); and his stepgrandsons, Cameron and Kellen Oliver.
