He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wittenborg and Joanne Wittenborg; and his father-in-law James Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Wittenborg; his children, Jack Wittenborg (Shelby) and Elizabeth Wittenborg; his grandchildren, Millie and Brooks Wittenborg; his mother-in-law Millie Pearson (Mil); his siblings, Jan Kirchner (Steve) and Andrew Wittenborg (Anne); his nephews, Eric Kirchner (Kate) and Scott Kirchner (Morgan); and his niece Laura (Jon).

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Richfield United Methodist Church.
