He was predeceased by: his parent Marie Weingart; and his brothers, Roger and Paul Weingart (Margaret). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Brian Weingart and Katie Lawrence (Joe); and his grandchildren, Makaila, Kyllie Weingart, Noah and Brody Lawrence. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Lutheran Church (9201 Normandale Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55437). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family, who will honor John's legacy by donating to a variety of music organizations he was involved with or deeply enjoyed.
