It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Velgersdyk of Bloomington, Minnesota, born in Rock Valley, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Kooima and Anna Kooima (DeWit); and her siblings, Marjorie Gaalswyk, Frieda Gaalswyk, Genevieve Mans, Jake and John.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Velgersdyk; and her children, John (Janice), Roxane Jeltema (Mike), Kevin (Laura) and Jason (Sandi). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
