She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Gerhard Michael and Augusta Michael; and her sister Elaine Ruff. She is survived by: her husband Robert Troemel; her children, Michael Troemel, Katherine Ormson (Eric), Sarah Troemel and Emily Troemel; her grandchildren, John Ormson (Rachel), Madison Ormson and Christian Ormson; and her siblings, Margaret Rivers, Gerhard Michael, Mark Michael and Joel Michael. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, Bread for the World or the charity of the donor's choice.
