She was predeceased by: her husband Roland; her parents, Alex Schmitz and Angela Schmitz; and her brothers, Kenneth and Paul Schmitz.

She is survived by: her sisters, Irene Peterson and Myrtle Schmitz; and her sons, David (Denise), Daniel (Connie), Duane (Theresa), Donald (Pam) and Dennis. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
