She was predeceased by: her parents, John Durant and Adelaide Durant; her son Richard; her grandchildren, Emily and Ryan Pieper; and her siblings, Regan, Andy, Betty, Patty, Juanita, Rafael, Beatrice, Rose, Robert, Thomas and Aurora.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Pieper; her children, Robert (Lori) and Dr. Christina Bigelow (Mark); and her grandchildren, Andrew (Heather), Pieper Christian Pieper (Lily), Robbie Pieper, Dr. Catherine Gribbon (Bobby), Jonathan Bigelow (Rachel) and Joseph Bigelow. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Poor Clare Sisters, 1001 -14th Street NW, Suite 200, Rochester MN 55901-2525.
