He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Thune and Evelyn Thune (Nesseth); his son Thomas Evans; and his brother Thomas Thune. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thune of Bloomington; his children, Mark Thune (Susan) of Fontana, WI and Susan Tack (Jim) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Rian Thune, Stephen Thune, Stephanie IIllikainen (Tyler), Lauren Caruso (Patrick) and Sarah Thune; his great grandchildren, Dylan Caruso, James Illikainen, Murphy Caruso and Ingrid Illikainen; his sister Gail Marklevits (Gene); and his niece Nancy Whitworth of Sault Ste.
