Rita M. Ogren Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Ogren of Bloomington, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on March 15, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Ogren; her parents, Earl Stroshane and Betty Stroshane; her brothers, Wayne (Earl) and Michael Stroshane; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Elvin and Don Juran.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Ogren (Jodi) and Nancy Thorkelson (Tom); her sisters, Jan Elvin and Linda Juran; her sister-in-law Patti Stroshane; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jensen (Scott), Erik Thorkelson (Megan), Berit Thorkelson (Clint Buckner) and Bart Thorkelson (Libby Johnson); and her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Asher, Roy, Vera, Arlo and Astrid. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives; as well as many wonderful friends.

Memorials are preferred, in lieu of flowers, to House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Richfield or the donor's choice.
