He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy A. Siefert and Bessie M. Siefert (Green); his wife Betty (Wohlers); and his children, Michael (Wendy), Phyllis Duval (Doug), Karen Gilbertson (Darrin) and Donald (Jessica). He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many siblings, nieces and nephews.
