He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Smith and Jeannette Smith (Ruoko); his son Aaron; and his siblings, Patrick Smith, Peggy Modler and Pamela Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Marianne; his sons, Jason and Nicholas; his siblings, Susan McCloskey, Richard Smith (Mary), Maureen Alaboud and Janet Smith; and his parents-in-law, James and Virginia Skeim. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
