He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Jackson (VanGuilder) and Glenn Jackson; his son Tommy; and his stepson Todd Voshell. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Bakken); his sons, Jay (Laurie), Richard "Digger" and Joel; his stepson Troy Voshell (Christine Manzo); his sister Beverly Folie (Mervel); his grandchildren, Sam Jackson (Tiffany) and Mary Jackson; and his pet Louie. He is also survived by step- grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.

Memorials preferred to St. Stephen Lutheran Church or donor's choice.
