He was predeceased by : his wife Ursula. He is survived by : his children, Dan (Cindy), Steve (Janet), Rob (Nina) and Nancy (Sean); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Brittany, Tyler, Matthew, Tanner, Mike and Corey. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Edward's Catholic Church (9401 Nesbitt Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55437). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
