She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas F. Shadid and Lena C. Shadid (Salome); her sisters, Elizabeth and Joann; and her daughter-in-law Marqueta.

She is survived by: her husband Tony Cook; her children, Steve Cook and Nicki Black (Casey); her grandchildren, Catie Stinson, Charles Cook, Lily Black and Julia Black; and her great grandchildren, Riley Stinson, Ezekiel Cook, Ezra Cook and Baby Stinson.
