He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenz Schwarz and Leona Schwarz (Bloede); his brothers, Wallace, Kenneth and Dale; and his parents-in-law, Selma and Bernard Bergervoet.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Catherine Riley (Michael) of Amboy, MN, Thomas Schwarz of Vernon Center, MN, Jeffrey Schwarz of Cedar Creek, TX, Cheryl Lindquist of Mankato, MN, Nancy Duncan (Joseph) of Browerville, MN and Todd Schwarz (Kari) of Vernon Center, MN; and his grandchildren, Dusty Riley (Tina), Ross Riley (Chelsey), Joel Schwarz (Chelsea), Alyssa Rademacher (Nick), Laura Wollenburg (Austen), Lindsey Schoenberg (Eric), Matt Lindquist (Emily), Katie Schwarz, Ryan Lindquist (Lindsay) and Cody Schwarz. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family, which will shared with organizations and charities that were important to Geno.
