She was predeceased by: her parents, Swan Peterson and Julia Peterson (Johnson); her husband John Sapa; her daughter Chris Wagner; and her sons-in-law, Vern Zabel and Gary Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Zabel of Blue Earth, Cheryl Bell of Port St, Deb Sapa of Jordan, MN and Tim Sapa (Christine) of Gaston, OR.; her son-in-law Bob Wagner of Zumbrota, MN.; and her grandchildren, Maura Humason, Jen Nelson, Kevin Zabel (Sarah), Lori Mueller (Brian), Denise Patten (Lukas), Breanna Welke (Brian), Austin Wagner (Amanda), Emily Engebretson (Duane), Jess Rogers (Lucas), Michael Bell (Ashley), Ali Mizell (Tyson) and Caleb Sapa. She is also survived by 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
