With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlyn Walter Cassem of Blue Earth, Minnesota, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Cassem and Laura Cassem (Dutton); his daughter Kristine Cassem; and his brother Steve Cassem. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Rae Lloyd of Blue Earth; his children, Kimberly Ristau (Tim) of Prior Lake, Kerrie Cassem of Harlingen, TX and Marty Cassem, Jr. (Mary) of Lake Crystal; his grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle and Collin; his siblings, Larry Cassem (Bonnie), Dora Fowler (Ron) and Donna Fischer (Dave); and his sister-in-law Lynn Cassem. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home (400 E 14th St, Blue Earth, MN 56013). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (203 S Moore St, Blue Earth, MN 56013).
