She was predeceased by: her son John E. Peterson; her parents, John Berger and Ellen Marie Berger; and her brothers, Michael Berger, Eugene Veit and Douglas Veit.
She is survived by: her son Randy Peterson (Gwen); her grandchildren, Leah (Andre) and Daniel (Brad); her great grandchildren, Aliyah and Andre; her sister-in-law Barb Veit; Betsy Kesner. She is also survived by nieces and nephew.
