She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lewie Bowman and Helga Cerutti (Barth); her former husband Randy Thoennes; her children, Brian Thoennes (Angie), Corey Thoennes (Cassie), Heidi Thoennes and Tabitha Thoennes; and her siblings, John Bowman (Lynn), Dale Bowman, Norma Malcolm and Lewie Bowman (Rodney). She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
