It is with sadness that the passing of Timothy C. Laine of Bovey, Minnesota is shared. Timothy, born on April 10, 1964 in Hibbing, Minnesota, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald and Frances; his grandson Alex; his aunts, Susie and Mickey; his uncle Larry; and his cousin Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Cierra Scharnott (Brandon), Tia Stanley (Charlton) and Jordan Laine (Angela); his grandchildren, JoAnna, Brock, Alba and Aila; his siblings, Bill Laine (Deanne), John Laine (Lynnette) and Rosemarie Paulson (Todd); his cousins, Kathy and Jeff; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Naomi Virkus. He is also survived by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grand Rapids Evangelical Free Church (34384 Co Rd 63, Grand Rapids, MN 55744).
