He was predeceased by : his father Alfred Panek Sr.; his siblings, Jerry Panek, Randy Panek, Rita and Mary Panek; and his niece Katy Panek.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Panek; his mother Mary Panek; his stepchildren, Jeremy, Brian (Ashley), Melrose, Jennifer (Ken) and Chris (Kaira); and his siblings, Mike Panek (Kim), Joe Panek (Cindy), John Panek (Rita), Jim Panek (Stephanie), Elmdale, Richard Panek, Judy Kiley (Richard), Mary Volkers (Mark), Tes Panek and Mora. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
