He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathilda Skwira (Zwak) and Felix Skwira; and his siblings, Albin, Loretta and Bernadette.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Skwira of Mary's Church; his children, Cindy Skwira (Rudy), Tom Skwira (Patty), Terry Skwira (Jacqueline) and Cristy Lahr (Joe); and his siblings, Ernest, Annette, Leona, Phyllis, Alphonse, Sr., Grace, Raymond, Dianne, Dennis, Jane, Gladys and Iris. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
